Free Printable: Wedding Activity Book

July 18, 2014

WeddingPhoto

Whoopee! You’re getting married! And you’re looking for a way to occupy the kids during the Reception? I’ve just put together a fun activity book that the little ones are sure to enjoy! And it’s free to download (because I like you!).

WeddingPhoto2

You can download the PDF using the link at the bottom of this post. You’ll need to do a bit of double sided gluing to get the book looking like a book – but you get the idea. Punch out two holes to thread some ribbon or twine to combine all the pages together and voila!

I really hope you enjoy it. Don’t forget to provide the kids with some colored pencils or crayons – maybe even some stamps or stickers for decorating! Have fun!

While I don’t ask any payment or donation for myself by releasing any of my Free Printables on my website, I would like to ask for a small donation to my beloved German Shepherd Rossy, who has just gone for emergency surgery for Gastric Dilatation Volvulus (GDV) or the same condition Marley had in the movie Marley & Me. If you would like to donate something go to his Go Fund Me page. Thank you so much.

    This is a great idea!

I will let all my friends know about this activity book for the upcoming weddings. There’s nothing worse than the kids being bored during the Big Day.

    Keep up the amazing work!

Hello, not sure who I should contact, we are a business on a Facebook page and there is another seller selling these printable documents, I assume this is against the law due to copyright?

So many people have told her she can’t, but she still continues to sell absolutely loads of them!

Email me in you would like any screen shots/the seller! 🙂

Wonderful blog! Do you have any tips for aspiring
writers? I’m hoping to start my own blog soon but I’m a little lost
on everything. Would you propose starting with a free platform like WordPress or go for a paid option? There are so many choices out there that
I’m totally confused .. Any ideas? Cheers!

Hi! Thanks so much! I’m by no means an expert on blogging… I just wanted to give it a go and just went ahead and started! I would definitely start with a FREE platform like WordPress or Blogger. Just have a go, see if you like it and if you find that you love it as much as I do and you’re quite active on it then go for a paid option. You can actually do quite a bit with the FREE options when you’re a beginner. I actually had a Blogger ages ago but found I wanted to do more with it and then took the steps to go with a proper website. Hope this helps! 🙂

Sorry for the late reply. Make sure you have the settings to fit the page (‘scale to fit’ or something like that), it should be somewhere in your print settings. Hope that helps. 🙂

    Hi,
Love this! It would be perfect to use at my wedding this summer for the 26 children we will have there! :/
As I am from the UK – I wanted to edit it to read colouring, not coloring. What font is used in this booklet?
    Thankyou xx

Just wanted to say thank you for sharing your work – I lost my activity packs, so I’ve been spending my Friday night trailing the internet looking for printable kids packs before my wedding next weekend.

You’re officially my favourite person in the world right now!

(And these books look tons better than the old ones – so everything must happen for a reason).

Thank you so very much for these cute designs and fun ideas. I am planning every detail of my granddaughter’s outdoor wedding and reception here at my home. While there will be a game area, some children like to be less active and at times, all the children will need to be seated.

[…] A I Entirely understand the issues surrounding children at weddings. I took my Irish triplets as toddlers to a wedding. I had prepared them each a bag (a very ‘quiet’ freezer bag) and popped in some hula hoops, raisins, nuts etc and they all sat there in the registry office sucking on the hula hoops and thinking it was such a treat! Children at a wedding can make for a truly perfect day – the photo opportunities alone make it worth having them around!  Conversely, sugar filled youngsters screaming around the place can make everyone feel uptight.  So, firstly, having some form of outdoor space for them to safely run around to work off some energy is a must.  Perhaps a quiet word to the parents to let them know the space is there as a hint might be useful. By the time the wedding breakfast commences, they should hopefully be a little more ready for sedate activities.  There are numerous sites that offer free printable word searches, puzzles and colouring in activities. You can simply roll some up with a little pack of pencils and finish off with a bow.  Having had three babies in a year, I have spent the past 15 years designing products to keep children happy when they need to stay still. It can be a hard task, but with a little imagination and time, anything can work, because, let’s face it, if you give a 5 year old an empty brown paper bag, some pencils and a few pointers on what they could do with their ‘gift’, they’ll keep quiet (well more than the brown paper bag will!). Here is a perfectly good example of a downloadable and printable wedding activity book that I found simply by searching on Google. Free Printable Activity Book […]
