Is it too late to wish everyone a Happy New Year? This is my first post of 2014 but it’s already Feb – d’oh! Well I hope everyone had a great Dec 31 and while I’m at it, I hope you had a very good Christmas as well! Oh, and let’s just continue this by saying Happy Chinese New Year too!

Mockeri has been totally silent for nearly 3 months, which I think is totally outrageous. I feel really guilty about it and had also intended one of my new year resolutions to be to concentrate more on blogging! What a big fat fail!

But, I’m committing to it now, better late than never right! The reason why time has taken me away from blogging is because my husband and I just bought a house! We moved in just before Christmas and have been crazy busy doing boring ‘house stuff’, not to mention Christmas family gatherings and celebrating the new year.

So what do I wish for Mockeri in 2014? Well, for starters I want to do a blog post at least once a week (I can already see myself failing this, but I’m going to try my darndest!). I want to do more freebies, talk more about beauty and shopping, do more reviews, maybe even some decor DIYs and cooking; and just more random chatter. I also fully intend (I’ve said this to myself pretty much every week for the last 5 years) to paint and draw more! I think I’m pretty rusty with the old paintbrush, so really want to practice my skills again – you’ll see!
