FREE Mini Paper Games

November 8, 2014

IMG_7021

I apologise for the lack of posts lately folks, but I’ve been busying myself with designing planner printables for my new Etsy store. Not only that, but I’ve also been gardening. Yes, gardening. I am bad at gardening. My thumb is more red than green. My knowledge of gardening consists of: plant goes into dirt, water goes on plant. So I’ve started with aloe veras. I’ve been told they’re very easy and don’t require much maintenance at all. That being said, I’ve had succulents and cacti die on me before!

I’ve created 5 super fun paper mini games you can print and cut out to play if you’re traveling, or even if you’re simply bored at home. The games on this printable are: Categories, Boxes, Battleship, Tic-Tac-Toe, and Paper Golf.

IMG_7022

If you need a refresher on the rules, here they are:

Paper Golf // Each person starts on the golf ball. With their eyes closed they must draw a line to where they think the hole is. Keep taking turns until the first person reaches the hole.

Tic-Tac-Toe // One person is the ‘O’. The other person is the ‘X’. Taking turns, you draw your ‘O’ or ‘X’ in the spaces in the grid. The first person to make 3 respective ‘Os’ or ‘Xs’ in a horizontal, vertical or diagonal row wins.

Categories // Pick any letter in the alphabet. Each person runs through the list trying to name something in each category starting with that letter. This can run on a timer or simply stop when the first person has finished. You get 1 point for each original answer. Most points wins.

Battleship // Each player must arrange the ships in places on the grid. Once your ships are arranged, each player takes turns trying to ‘shoot’ the other person’s ships down. Call out the squares using the letters and numbers (e.g. A1, B6 etc). Once all the squares for that ship has been called out, that ship has sunk. First person to sink all of their opponent’s ships wins.

Boxes // Each person takes turns drawing a line from one dot to another vertically or horizontally. The goal is to make as many squares/boxes as you can. When you make a box, you get a free turn.

2015 Daily Planner Printable

September 15, 2014

2015Planner4Blog

It’s here!!! I just finished my 2015 Daily Planner Printable and I couldn’t be more excited!! It’s now available in my Mockeri Shop!

2015Planner4Blog2

Once purchased, you’ll get an automatic email with the PDF available for instant download! So what’s inside?

You get a beautiful colourful Cover page, and personal information page, then a 2015 and 2016 Year At A Glance spread calendar.

2015Planner4Blog3

2 page monthly spreads are then followed by pre-dated side by side weekly spreads of 2015 from Jan to Dec. Weekly notes and daily meal planning are included over the 2 colourful weekly pages. There is also a highlighted section at the top of each day for the most important notes first.

2015Planner4Blog6

2015Planner4Blog4

This planner is designed in A5 size (210 x 148mm or 5.8″ x 8.3″) and to be printed front and back. You can take it to be professionally printed, but if you prefer not to and have a perfectly good printer at home – just print it yourself – I did! I printed mine out on A4 sheets (297 x 210mm or 8.26″ x 11.69″) and trimmed it by hand. Just make sure the proportions and size of the document stays true to size. You’ll need to feed the printed pages back through the printer to print front and back – but the end result is worth it! Look how pretty it is! I can’t wait to start using it!

But wait, that’s not all! I also included some extra add-on pages – Meeting Notes Pages, Notes Pages, Contacts Pages and Presents Pages (for jotting down present ideas). And the awesome thing about printables is that you can print as many copies as you like! These extra pages can be printed multiple times to build up your planner.

2015Planner4Blog5

You can snag all of these planner pages as an instant download file! Yay! Right here, right now!

My favourite Planner Binder is kikki.K‘s Leather Personal Planners. They are super cute and constantly come out with some great colours. Mine one is from their Lilac & Gold collection. It comes with dividers for your extra add-on pages so you have them sectioned off. It does comes with it’s own notes pages too! It also has 3 pages of stickers and labels which you can use in your planner! There are pockets to hold pens, stickers, post-it notes and small notebooks. I love it!

I’m thinking of working on some colourful stickers and labels to go with the planner highlighting more special events and reminders as well as more extra add-on pages. If you don’t already know I have a Blog Schedule Planner and a Budget Planner already in my store which can all be used in the one planner. Got any other suggestions? Please let me know! I hope you get a lot of love from this!

Happy Planning!

Free Printable: Sweet Shop Kids Game

August 29, 2014

SweetShop

I am so excited to be posting this! My free Sweet Shop Game for Kids!

One of my favourite kinds of iPad games are the ones that involve cooking, serving food, restaurant management or anything similar. If you haven’t already played it, Hot Dog Bush is one of those great games. I think it also stemmed from when I was younger and used to play Shop with my mummy! She loves cooking, so she would make all these treats and we would use pretend money to go shopping in her ‘treat store’. Anyway, it gave me this idea of making a game that was like this, but also making it educational so you could also teach your kids about maths.

SweetShop2

I made cute Cupcake Pretend Money which you use to purchase the Sweet Shop Items. I made 4 categories of Sweet Shop Items – Cupcakes, Ice Creams, Cakes, Candies, and Biscuits. Each shop item has the name and the price on it. Kids can use the pretend money to buy items from the shop. This will help them learn how to use money and do the maths to purchase the items.

SweetShop3

SweetShop4

In this complete set of the Free Printable Game, there’s 20 sweet shop item cards available (4 items in each category). They include Macaroons, Jelly Beans, Red Velvet Cupcake, Lemon Drizzle Cake, Chocolate Heart Ice Cream, Lollipops, Strawberry Donut and lots more – just look at them!SweetShop5

The Cupcake Pretend Money and all these Sweet Shop Items are available in this free printable. Your very own free printable Sweet Shop game for kids! It’s a great kids activity, and fun math game for kids. Don’t forget, you can print multiple copies of these for your personal use! You’ll need to print a few copies of the Pretend Money to give change too! I would love to do more ‘Shop’ games in the future – like sushi, fast food, movies etc! But hopefully you guys enjoy this one!
